Early Years

"Play is the highest expression of human development in childhood, for it alone is the free expression of what is in a child's soul."

Fredrich Froebel

Benefits for children . . .

  • Children 0 to 6 need to experience quality, play-based opportunities for optimal emotional, social and cognitive development for it is through play that a child learns.
  • In play-based, recreation activity children learn social skills, problem solving skills, interpersonal skills, language skills and fundamental movement skills.
  • Play for a child is not a luxury. Play is a necessity for a child's healthy development
