Activities update – January 19, 2022

As of January 20, 2022 NVRC will begin opening fitness centres (weight rooms).  Select locations will open on January 20 with more to follow on January 21, with all locations open by January 24.

For dates and hours of operation, refer to the facilities page. Advance registration is required to use a fitness centre (weight room) due to capacity limits, and customers can book up to 25 hours in advance of the time they wish to visit the fitness centre.

Book-a-visit (membership) fitness classes will also begin resuming from Thursday, January 20, 2022. Classes will be added as staff and spaces are confirmed. The fitness class schedule is online, registration is open now for classes starting Jan. 20. We will return to having registration for these book-a-visits start on Mondays the week before the class, (in the same way as we used to run registration).

Registered fitness and dance programs are also resuming from Thursday, January 20, 2022 and are being reintroduced as staff and spaces are confirmed.  Capacity limits are in place. Larger spaces will be used where possible to provide the same number of participants in programs. Where this is not possible, spots are allocated based on who registered first, and a waitlist will be used for oversubscribed programs.

Fitness memberships will be reactivated from January 20, 2022. Members who do not wish to continue with their membership at this point are eligible for a pro-rated refund or can receive an account credit. Please call 604 987 7529 to arrange this.

Drop-in public swim and skate sessions are reduced to 50% capacity due to the new Public Health Order.  Please plan to arrive early to avoid lineups.

Centennial Theatre is operating at 50% maximum capacity. At this time, all other NVRC programs will continue as scheduled.
