The evening will  feature the music of Vancouver’s longest-running Celtic group Blackthorn with guest artists including Piper Tim Fanning, Shot of Scotch Dancers and of course a tribute to the poetic life of the Bard of Ayrshire, the Ploughman Poet; Robert Burns.

Widely regarded as the national poet of Scotland, 'Rabbie Burns' is remembered and celebrated worldwide for his lyrical genius and his keen and empathetic observations of daily life 260 years since his birth on January 25, 1759.
