Gold Medal winners at the International Student Music Festival at Carnegie Hall in 2017, the World Music Program at Brockton School specializes in enriching students’ musical experiences and developing well-rounded performers. Using primarily African-style marimbas, the Ensemble performs a diverse repertoire including traditional African music, unique arrangements of popular songs, and student-driven compositions and arrangements. This is a high energy, vibrant and engaging performance.

The World Music Program Marimba Ensembles are “developing into a force to be reckoned with…The sound created by these traditional wooden African marimbas is almost otherworldly!” North Shore News
