Facility Closures

Currently all North Vancouver community recreation centres, North Vancouver Tennis Centre and Centennial Theatre are closed. NVRC facilities remain closed until further notice based on directives from provincial and local health authorities. Currently, there is no confirmed date for resumption of services. We will continue to provide updates to customers on our website and through our eNewsletters and social media channels (Twitter, Facebook and Instagram).

Planning Update - June 1, 2020

We know that our programs and services are very important to our community. We are listening carefully to the various directives and messages regarding re-opening of certain businesses and facilities and figuring out what the restrictions mean for our valuable recreation and culture services.

We are working on plans for resuming services as soon as we can.  Our plans will comply with the provincial and local directives and be feasible to implement.  When we do re-open our facilities, things will look different. It will be a gradual process and it will take time to implement new protocols to ensure the health and safety of our staff and customers.

Although the timeline for re-opening NVRC facilities has not yet been set, we remain committed to keeping you updated as plans are finalized.
