Grants Workshops

In order to assist new and returning applicants navigate the funding process, NVRC offers several opportunities for support and guidance available to prospective grant applicants.

  Arts & Culture Grants Information Workshop 
    Fir Room, Delbrook Community Recreation Centre
    Wednesday, September 18, 2019 -- 6:30 to 8:00 pm

All potential grant applicants and interested parties are encouraged to attend this Workshop, where staff will provide important information about the Arts & Culture Grants Program: outline the policy goals and objectives behind the different grant streams, describe the intake process, and provide some tips for applicants.

    Oak Room, Delbrook Community Recreation Centre
    Wednesday, September 25, 2019 -- 6:30 to 8:00 pm

Whether you’re a first-time grant-writer, a novice looking to improve your results, or an experienced applicant hoping to better understand the grant process, this workshop will help you understand the granting process, share some tips on effective grant writing and budgeting, and give you the tools you need to succeed in the granting arena.

  Grant Applicant Mentorship Sessions
     Admin Offices, Delbrook Community Recreation Centre
     Thursday, September 26, 2019 -- 10:00 am to 4:00 pm (Early Intake)
     Wednesday, February 12, 2020 -- 10:00 am to 4:00 pm (Late Intake)

Grants staff will provide one-on-one feedback on in-progress grant applications.  Eligible applicants are invited to reserve a 30-minute slot.
