Choral Tapestry - Weaving the world together in song

Celebrate multi-culturalism through choral music! Laudate Singers performs three new commissions by Marco Del Rio (in Spanish) and Farshid Samandari (in Farsi) and a grand variety of folk and contemporary pieces in a dozen languages. A wonderful tapestry of sounds, languages and thoughts from countries as diverse as Iran, England, Latvia, China, Russia, Poland and more, set in the stunning Gordon Smith Gallery of Canadian Art. A display and demonstration of weaving tapestries too by The Tapestry Weavers Interest Group and Silver Harbour Tapestry Weavers.
