HEARTBEAT - Music pulsing with passion

Laudate Singers are joined by guitarist Adrian Verdejo in a program pulsing with tango and exciting new music. Surrounded by the beautiful art in the Gordon Smith Gallery, the featured work is Castelnuovo-Tedesco's fascinating and passionate Romancero Gitano, with text by the great Spanish poet García Lorca. Expect some Piazzolla and other South American favourites like Matamoros and Stamponi, plus the world premiere of 2 new works by composer-in-residence Marco Del Rio and up-and-coming young composer Emile Deedes-Vincke.
