Contemporary printmakers Mariko Ando, Elisabeth Sommerville and Richard Tetrault demonstrate the artistry, processes and techniques of printmaking.
Many art buyers are understandably confused about the difference between an original print and a reproduction. Master painters like Rembrandt, Degas and Picasso made original prints.
The purpose of this exhibition is to explain the methods used by these traditional artists as practiced today by three contemporary artist/printmakers. We hope this will clarify for collectors who may buy what they think is an original work of art, but is really nothing but a copy.
Print making demonstration Saturday, March 4 12:00 - 4:00pm
