Whether self-represented or working with a gallery, artists are increasingly expected to work towards generating buzz and followings for their work. This workshop will introduce various marketing tools and approaches including websites and social media strategies, while highlighting how to increase press coverage for their work. Annie Briard's work has been presented across Canada and internationally in solo and group exhibitions, screenings, and as public art projects. She teaches photography, art theory and professional practice courses in the undergraduate program at Emily Carr University.
