The Seaside and Shoreline Spinners’ Walking Club will be a walked and measured map created by community labour over five nights from July 30–August 3. The resulting work will help form a body of research on coastal materials and techniques guided by First Nations sensibilities and concerns. These evenings are designed to deepen and expand the discussion about the traditions of living from the land and sea by introducing contemporary foraging practices and cultural use of materials. This event takes places over 5 nights from July 30-August 3, from 6:30 - 8:30 PM. Location: Artspeaks Tent Workshop type: Demo/hands-on Cost: $25 for series, $8 drop-in per night online registration.
