The Vancouver Art Community in partnership with The Calm Village to host a wreath making workshop in celebration of Summer Solstice. Work with plants and flowers to create artwork you can wear!
In this workshop you will create your own flower wreath to celebrate the longest day of the year and the fullness of the summer season.
We'll help you structure your crown for fit, shape, and variety. Tap into the rhythm of the divine goddess and learn how to weave together plants to make a beautiful, handmade flower crown or wreath.
In addition to the wreath making, The Calm Village will tour participants through the forest and teach them about the local plants and trees that have come into full bloom.
All materials will be provided including flowers.
The workshop will take place outdoors at Princess Park located in North Vancouver. Limited spaces available. Tea and snacks will be provided.
