NVRC strives to meet the needs of the community in our programs, services and events. There are a number of ways our patrons and community members can get involved, and share their ideas and feedback with us.
We want to hear from a variety of voices to help us fulfill our vision to have our community be vibrant, diverse, active, creative and connected.
Here are ways you can be involved and share your thoughts with us:
Make a presentation to the North Vancouver Recreation & Culture Commission at a regular meeting
Share your voice
We also actively solicit feedback from community members on programs, projects and initiatives. This includes things such as surveys of specific program participants or community youth and parents/caregivers on out-of-school recreation and culture programs, up to broad, comprehensive community consultation on things like the recreation needs assessment and facility plan (2018), and the indoor/outdoor recreation and sport facility plan (2023).
In addition, we regularly connect with community arts, culture, sport and service groups to seek input or advice on topics that may impact them, and to find out how we can best work together to support the community.
