"Remember: The science of memory and the art of forgetting" by Lisa Genova

Remember explores how memories are formed, retrieved, and forgotten, explaining why some last moments (like a passcode) while others endure (like your wedding day). She highlights the difference between normal forgetting (e.g., misplacing your car keys) and memory loss due to Alzheimer’s (e.g., forgetting you own a car). By understanding memory’s strengths, weaknesses, and influences you can set educated expectations for your memory, and in doing so, create a better relationship with it. You don’t have to fear it anymore. And that can be life-changing.

Join us every month or just for the meetings you prefer. If you miss a meeting but still want to discuss the book, you can also join us at a different time or location.
