Ways to Register
Choose a registration method that's easiest for you. Whether you prefer to register online, speak with a representative in our Call Centre, or drop in to your local community recreation centre, we've got you covered.
Summer Program Registration
Summer programs (which run in July and August) are now available to browse. Summer registration will take place in our new registration system. You will need to create an account in the new system in order to register. To save valuable time on registration day, set up your new account in advance.
Before registration begins, browse your summer program options online. Please note, you cannot register until after registration opens (see dates below). We recommend noting down your Course IDs, ready for registration day. You are also able to log-in to your account to check your details are correct.
Summer Program Registration Dates
- Swimming - Tuesday, May 14 at 7:00am
- All other programs - Tuesday, May 21 at 7:00am
The quickest method is to Log-in to your account before registering for a program (once registration is open).
Summer Camps Single Day Registrations
Please note that the course ID codes for single day camps have recently changed. If you previoulsy noted down codes before May 17, 2019 please refer to this single day camps cheatsheet for the new codes.
Secure, Fast & Easy Registration - Anytime
Spring programs (starting May and June) are available for registration on our existing eReg software. When you're ready to register, have your Log In number (Playcard number), PIN and a credit card handy. If you don't have a credit card, you can register at your nearest Community Recreation Centre.
To register online, you will need the following:
- Your Log In number (your client Playcard number)
- Your PIN (your family account reference number)
- The program barcode(s) and/or name(s)
- Your VISA®, MasterCard® or American Express®
When you use eReg, you must pay the entire balance of your account at the time of registration.
Don't know your PIN or Playcard number?
You can find your Log In number (Playcard number) on any North Vancouver Recreation and Culture receipt. If you can't find a receipt and you supplied us with your email address when you set up your family account, simply enter your e-mail address here and our system will automatically send you your account numbers. Otherwise, visit your local centre and show picture ID at the front desk and our staff will provide you with your account numbers.
Don't know or can't find the program barcode number?
Search for the program directly on eReg. You do not need to log in to eReg in order to search for programs.
Not all programs listed on the website are available for eReg. For these programs, you must register in person or call 604-987-Play (7529) for details.

For personal assistance with your North Vancouver Recreation & Culture registration, just call 604-987-Play (7529) to talk to a customer service representative. Our friendly and knowledgeable staff will answer your questions and help you find the right programs for you and your family members.
We're available to help you Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 6:30pm and Saturday & Sunday, 8:30am - 4:30pm, except for our seasonal registration days when we open at 7:00am.
To register by phone, you must have a credit card. If you don't have a credit card, you can register at your nearest Community Recreation Centre.

Registration at our Centres
Drop by your local Community Recreation Centre to register for North Vancouver Recreation and Culture Commission programs. Our knowledgeable front desk staff will assist you with all your registration needs. We accept payment by cash, cheque, debit or credit card. It's easy–and you get a printed receipt right away.
