Summer Program Registration
Registration for our summer programs which run in July and August is on now. View our summer programs in our online registration system.
Fall Program Registration
Registration for our fall programs which run from September to December takes place on the following days:
- Adult Tennis: Tuesday, August 16 at 7:00am for residents* / 9:00am for non-residents
- Junior Tennis: Wednesday, August 17 at 7:00am for residents* / 9:00am for non-residents
- Swimming: Tuesday, August 23 at 7:00am for residents* / 9:00am for non-residents
- Skating: Wednesday, August 24 at 7:00am for residents* / 9:00am for non-residents
- General Programs: Wednesday, August 24 at 7:00am
*Residents of the City and District of North Vancouver
Our fall tennis programs will be available to view in our online registration system at noon on July 28. All other fall programs will be available to view online at noon on August 2nd.
During the registration process, spots in programs/sessions will only be confirmed once they have been paid for. Spots are confirmed on a first-come-first-served basis according to when payment is made. As a result, we recommend processing each registration individually to speed up your transaction, particularly for high-demand courses.
Many of our most popular sessions, such as fitness centre visits, swimming and skating, are now drop-in only. You will no longer need to pre-book or pay in advance. View our drop-in schedules. View our fitness centre schedules.
The following activities are continuing to be offered on a pre-registered Book-a-Visit basis only:
Fitness classes and sports sessions can be booked starting at 9am on the Monday, one week before the session. When a statutory holiday falls on a Monday, registration for the following week is on Tuesdays. Book a visit online or call 604-987-7529.
We are now processing waitlists by email instead of by phone. Each day, we will contact customers by email if a spot on a waitlist has become available for them. The email will be sent to the email address on your account in our registration system. This new system will help us to contact you more quickly.
If the spot is not confirmed by 1:00pm the following day, it will be offered to the next person on the waitlist.
To ensure you don’t miss your waitlist spot, log-in to your NVRC registration account to check that the email address on your account is current. A how-to video for this is available on our registration support page. You can also call us at 604-987-7529.

Can’t make your pre-booked visit?
Please remember to cancel so others can sign up for the spot.
We know plans can change. So if you are unable to attend your pre-booked visits for fitness classes, etc., we ask that you please cancel online (watch our how-to video), by email or by calling 604-987-7529, as soon as you know you can’t attend. This will free up your spot for others who want to get active.

To register by phone, you must have a credit card. If you don't have a credit card, you can register at your nearest Community Recreation Centre.
