Program Registration 

You can browse programs and register in our registration system. You will need an online account to register, if you do not already have an account, set up your account today.

Please note, you cannot register until after registration opens (see dates below). We recommend noting down your Course IDs, ready for registration day. You are also able to log-in to your account to check your details are correct.

Program Registration Dates

Registration for our Fall programs, programs which run from September to December, begins on the following dates: 

  • Tuesday, August 17 - Adult Tennis
    7am for residents, 9am for non-residents*
  • Wednesday, August 18 - Junior Tennis
    7am for residents, 9am for non-residents*
  • Tuesday, August 24 at 9am - Swimming Programs
  • Wednesday, August 25 at 9am - General Programs

*Residents of the City and District of North Vancouver

Our fall programs will be available to view online as of Monday, August 9.

Drop-in Programs

Due to COVID restrictions we are no longer allowing drop-ins, customers need to book a visit in advance for all of our previous drop-in sessions. You can book a visit for these sessions starting at 9am on the Monday, one week before the session. When a statutory holiday falls on a Monday, registration for the following week is on Tuesdays. Book a visit online or call 604-987-7529.

Can’t make your pre-booked visit?

Please remember to cancel so others can sign up for the spot.

We know plans can change. So if you are unable to attend your pre-booked visits for fitness centres, fitness classes, swimming and skating, we ask that you please cancel online (watch our how-to video), by email or by calling 604-987-7529, as soon as you know you can’t attend.  This will free up your spot for others who want to get active.
Recently, we have seen an increase in customers not showing up for their visit AND we have  more people going on the wait-list trying to get a spot. If everyone is considerate and cancels their unwanted visits, we can serve more people and there will be more space for you when you want to book!

New No-Show Procedure

This new procedure has been implemented to maximize the number of spots for all community members to stay active.

Starting March 15, 2021, if you are registered for a fitness centre session and you don’t show up, or don’t cancel your spot at least one hour (60 minutes) before the start time, NVRC will consider this a No Show.

Once you have three no-show visits in a week, your account will be suspended online for one week and you will need to call to make any registrations.  Should a customer have their online account suspended for two weeks (not necessarily consecutively) and then no-show three times in one week again, this will result in access to the fitness centre being revoked for one week and no refund will be provided. This does not change the rules regarding receiving a refund when cancelling a visit, 3 days notice is still required to receive a refund.

For personal assistance to register for a North Vancouver Recreation & Culture program or book a visit for a public session, just call 604-987-7529. Our friendly and knowledgeable staff will answer your questions and help you find the right programs for you and your family members.

We're available to help you Monday to Sunday, 9:00am to 5:00pm, except for our seasonal registration days when we open at 7:00am.

To register by phone, you must have a credit card. If you don't have a credit card, you can register at your nearest Community Recreation Centre.
