Theatre Parking & Transit Info

The City of North Vancouver is building a new Harry Jerome Community Recreation Centre (HJCRC) on the north side of East 23rd Street between Lonsdale and St. Georges Avenues. For more information on the new HJCRC, visit www.cnv.org/hjcrc.

Construction has impacted parking at Centennial Theatre as the building site was previously a parking lot for Centennial Theatre and the existing HJCRC.

Please allow enough time to find parking and walk to the theatre in advance of your show time. Patrons are encouraged to take transit or use active transport options, if possible.

Where to park
A limited number of parking spots are available at North Shore Alliance Church at 201 East 23rd Street and street parking is available on some of the surrounding roads. Accessible parking is available off East 23rd street next to the existing HJCRC. There is also a drop-off/pick-up area on East 23rd next to the theatre. See the map below for details.

Public transportation
Centennial Theatre is easy to get to using public transit. From downtown Vancouver patrons are able to catch the Seabus from Waterfront Station to Lonsdale Quay. Lonsdale Avenue buses travelling north depart regularly from Lonsdale Quay and stop outside the theatre at Lonsdale and 23rd Street. For more information and routes, visit Translink.
