North Vancouver Recreation & Culture believes that everyone should have an opportunity to participate in recreation and culture activities. We are committed to providing supports and services that work to minimize barriers and encourage participation of North Vancouver residents. 

Free and Low Cost

NVRC offers many free and low cost opportunities. Arts & culture events and workshops, fitness classes ($2 Wellness), sport drop-ins, youth centres, swimming, skating and parent & tot playtimes are just some of the examples of the free and low cost opportunities that are available. Learn more

Specialty Programs 

NVRC and our community partners offer a variety of classes that might be a fit for you or someone you know.  Some examples include:  adapted aquafit, active rehab, SirVivor, Fame Neuro Fitness, specialty aquatic rehab, Osteofit, and movement and mobility (low impact and chair fitness classes).  To learn more:
