Celebrate Earth Day at the City’s official event on Saturday, April 18 at Moodyville Park, located at Moody Avenue and East 2nd Street.
From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. residents can enjoy free, family-friendly fun to benefit the local environment. The event is rain or shine, so come prepared and dress for the weather!
Event highlights include:
• A volunteer invasive plant removal led by the City Park Stewards (registration is required)
• Safety practices from the Community Awareness Public Safety Volunteers
• Bubbles and chalk hosted by Ponnie Matin Studios
• Sign painting, ivy weaving and other arts and crafts
• A free Bike Repair Cafe presented by Obsession Bikes
• Interactive community booths featuring local organizations and City partners
