North Vancouver - Join us on Thursday, March 7 at 7:30 pm for a night of comedy and wit in celebration of International Women’s Day with the top female stand-up act in Canada! Veteran of Montreal's Just for Laughs and the Winnipeg Comedy Festival, Martha Chaves will be joined by host Christine Lippa and opening acts Alison Ogilvie and Melanie Rose.

Martha Chaves is a very busy comedian. Her infectious, candid style and captivating stage presence have endeared her to a diverse audience across Canada. Martha's television credits include two national comedy specials, COMICS! on CBC and Something About Martha on CTV and The Comedy Network. Martha is also a regular on CBC Radio's Laugh Out Loud, The Debaters and Because News.

Opener Alison Ogilvie is a Vancouver based comic and storyteller who hails from bonny Scotland. She was named BC’s funniest female at Vancouver’s Yuk off competition in 2017. Melanie Rose is a favourite at comedy clubs across the country and a Yuk Yuk’s regular. Melanie has been featured on the critically-acclaimed CRAVE TV show, She Kills Me and Victoria’s Funny Women Festival. Yuk Yuk’s regular and Vancouver Theatresports contributor Christine Lippa will host what promises to be a fun evening full of laughter.
