The Cates / Whey-Ah-Wichen Park picnic shelter is located between the boat launch and Wally's Burgers, has beach access, and is a short walk away from the playground and washrooms. The parking lot is accessed off Dollarton Hwy and has multiple small parking lots, the closest of which to the shelter can be found just after the paid boat launch parking lot.
