Due to the fact that this program is intended to build independence, responsibility and leadership participants are permitted to sign themselves in and out of the program and are permitted to leave during breaks. Staff is available for guidance and support. Please communicate with your child these responsibilities. Participant must be 10yrs old to register for the class. Please bring a pen to write.
An interactive safety training program for youth ages 10+. This program prepares youth for the important step of staying home alone safely. This course teaches safety, first aid, and comfort skills through interactive games and role playing. Staying home alone isn’t an event, it’s a process. Students will come away with knowledge, skills and more confidence.
