Sculpture

In celebration of the spirited connection between people, dogs and the natural environment, a series of joyful canine forms are interwoven with vibrant botanical shapes. The stylized plant cutouts are artistic interpretations of local flora that can be encountered while walking along North Shore trails.

Look closely and you may recognize camas, Douglas aster, goldenrod, fireweed, Pacific bleeding heart, coast penstemon, fringecup, lupine and yarrow.

About the Artist:
Charlotte Campbell is a multidisciplinary artist based in Vancouver, British Columbia. Through a variety of mediums—including painting, screen printing, sculpture, and textiles—she creates artwork that reflects both the serenity of meditative brushstrokes and the energy of spontaneous mark-making. Her practice explores themes of wonder and celebration, bringing the natural world to life through vibrant patterns, dynamic layers, and organic movement. Growing up among the lush landscapes and beaches of the Pacific Northwest fostered in her a deep connection with nature, which continues to inspire and inform her art today.
