Before the pool at old Harry Jerome Community Recreation Centre closes its doors for good, we're throwing one final pool party. And this one's for the dogs.
Join us Sunday, June 28 for an evening swim — no humans in the water, but plenty of tail-wagging on the deck.
Registration required | $5 per dog (proceeds will be donated to the SPCA)
Spots will go fast, so don't let this one slip through your paws.
Register by size at the links below:
- Small dogs (up to 30 lbs) | 4:45–5:30pm
- Medium dogs (30–50 lbs) | 6–6:45pm
- Medium/large dogs (40 lbs+) | 7:15–8pm
A few things to know:
- Dogs only in the pool. Humans must stay dry.
- One dog per person; each dog may bring up to two humans onto the deck
- All dogs must provide proof of a current rabies vaccination and be spayed/neutered
- Lifeguards will be on duty; a dog-appropriate life jacket is recommended for uncertain swimmers
Not a dog owner?
Come cheer from the sidelines. Spectators are welcome to watch from the dry deck viewing area upstairs between the pool and gymnastics centre. Registration not required.
