Bronze Cross

COURSE RUNS Mondays 4:45-10pm. 100% participation required both in and out of the water. Total course fee ($206.46) including manuals and certification will appear at checkout. In order to receive a refund you must withdraw at least 8 days prior to the start of the first class. Withdrawals made 7 days or less prior to the first class will not receive a refund. All refunds must be done in person or by calling 604-987-7529.

The Lifesaving Society’s Bronze Cross begins the transition from lifesaving to lifeguarding and prepares candidates for responsibilities as assistant lifeguards. Candidates strengthen and expand their lifesaving skills and begin to apply the principles and techniques of active surveillance in aquatic facilities. Bronze Cross emphasizes the importance of teamwork and communication in preventing and responding to aquatic emergencies. Bronze Cross is a prerequisite for advanced training in the Society’s National Lifeguard and leadership certification programs. Pre-requisite: Bronze Medallion.
