You can request to have a new account created by completing and submitting the new account request form.  

Requests will be processed in two business days. A staff member will verify the information provided on the online form is accurate and not a duplicate of an existing account before creating a new account.  You will receive an email from NVRC staff with next steps when your request has been processed.  

You can only have one account. If you are unsure if you have an account with us, try logging in with your primary email and click the 'forgot password' link. If this doesn't work, go ahead and request a new account. 

You can reset your password online and get immediate access to your account by going to the login page (nvrc.perfectmind.com) and clicking ‘Forgot Password’.

Adding a family member
You can add additional family members to your family account by completing our  online form, calling 604-987-7529 or stopping by the front desk at one of our facilities.  

All clients added to the account must be family members living at the same address. We encourage adults 18 years of age and older to set up their own accounts.

People living at different addresses should have their own separate accounts. Each person should only be linked to one account—you cannot have your name added to multiple accounts. 

Removing a family member
You cannot remove a family member online. Please call 604-987-7529 to remove someone from your account.

Use the Activity Search tool to view our programs, book-a-visit and drop-in sessions. You can also access the registration system directly to search for programs.

The virtual waiting room helps manage high volumes of online traffic during our popular seasonal registration days, making the experience more reliable and transparent for everyone. Learn more about the virtual waiting room. 

Only during high-traffic seasonal registrations — swimming, skating, tennis, camps and general program registration. Other registrations, such as weekly registration for Book-a-Visit classes, will not have a virtual waiting room. 

To join the waiting room, visit the NVRC registration site between 6:45–6:59am on registration day. You'll see a holding screen, and at 7am, you'll be randomly assigned a place in line along with an estimated wait time.

There is no advantage to visiting the registration site before 6:45am — if you do, you'll need to refresh your browser after 6:45am to enter the waiting room.

Arriving after 7am? You'll be added to the line in the order you arrive and will see your place in line and estimated wait time.
 

When your wait is over and you get into the registration system, add all your programs to your cart and check out in one visit. Act quickly — others may be registering for the same programs at the same time and spaces aren't confirmed until checkout is complete. To speed things up, browse programs before registration day and have a list of your course ID numbers handy. If you need to go back and register for more programs after you’ve checked out, you'll need to wait in line again. 

Some programs have age and/or school grade requirements. Make sure each of your family member's birthdates and school grades are correct on your account.

NVRC is a publicly funded partnership between the City of North Vancouver and the District of North Vancouver. We provide recreation, sport and arts programming and events on behalf of the City and District.  

Because our facilities and services are funded by the taxpayers of the City and the District of North Vancouver, residents of the City and the District receive advance registration for some popular programs.  

You are eligible for advance registration for applicable programs if you live at an address within the District or City of North Vancouver.  

To confirm you are a resident, you may need to provide proof of address by bringing a piece of government-issued photo ID such as a driver’s license or BC Services Card to show to customer service staff at an NVRC facility.  

If you have having issues with payment, try the tips below.

• Reload the payment page
• Ensure your credit card information (expiry date, etc.) is up-to-date
• Ensure that the address entered matches the billing address on the credit card
• Re-enter the credit card details

Please note: the system does not accept Visa debit cards. If this does not resolve your issue, please call or visit us in-person to complete your registration. 

Please ensure that the email address communication@xplorrecreation.com is added to your safe senders list. 

Yes! To withdraw from a program or book-a-visit spot online, please do the following:

1. Log into your account.
2. Select the person whose course information you want to view.
3. Scroll down and click on 'schedules'.
4. The person's registered courses will appear in the calendar. Switch to 'list view'. 
5. Find the course from which you would like to withdraw.
6. Click on 'actions' on the right-hand side.
7. Select 'withdraw'.

Some courses which have additional fees (such as course materials or clay for pottery) do not allow online withdrawals. Please call us at 604-987-7529.

Usually, you can withdraw online if the program start date is more than seven days away. For most programs, withdrawals made seven days or less prior to the first day of a multi-class program can be done in person or by calling 604-987-7529 and will be refunded less the pro-rated cost of one class. For more information, visit the Refunds page.

NVRC's registration system is optimized for use on laptop and desktop computers using the latest version of the Google Chrome browser.

Please check the items below if you are experiencing this issue.

• Only have one checkout browser tab open at a time
• Ensure your internet connection is active and stable 
• Reload the page
• Check that your device window is not zoomed in 
• Ensure you are using the latest version of the Google Chrome browser
• If you get stuck at any point in the registration due to loading issues, clear your cache (see online registration technical troubleshooting tips, step #3 on the the registration dates & support page for details on how to do this). Note: this will clear any spots you are currently holding.

NVRC assists North Vancouver residents who face financial barriers to participate in recreation and culture programs.

We need proof of address (such as a government-issued photo ID) for clients over the age of 18 to make sure our records are accurate and ensure all residents have equal and fair access to register for programs and services.

NVRC also provides resident-first access to select high-demand programs, so address verification is needed to ensure that those customers getting resident-first access are residents of the City or District of North Vancouver.

Each person should only be linked to one account—you cannot have your name on multiple accounts. Customers who do not provide proof of address may be denied the ability to register for classes and book-a-visits online.
