As Christmas approaches, support struggling Palestinian artists and artisans at a fair trade Christmas craft fair, led by Kat Harris and held at St. Andrew’s United Church in North Vancouver. The items for sale come directly from small artisans in and around Bethlehem in the West Bank and from charitable organizations like L'Arche Bethlehem, Wi'am and the Bethlehem Bible College. Give the gift of Palestine and help raise awareness at the same time. All money (other than shipping costs & duties) goes directly to the artists in the occupied West Bank. Offerings include beautiful olive wood carvings, stained glass, tatreez (Palestinian embroidery), hand blown glass from Hebron, felt items from the sheep around Bethlehem, candles and soap from Nablus and hand painted ceramics.
