Celebrate National Indigenous History Month with NVRC

National Indigenous History Month: June events & activities

June is National Indigenous History Month in Canada. It's a time to honour the stories, achievements and resilience of First Nations, Inuit and Métis people.

NVRC is committed to truth, reconciliation and building strong and collaborative relationships with Sḵwx̱wú7mesh Úxwumixw (Squamish Nation) and səlilwətaɬ (Tsleil-Waututh Nation). We recognize and honour the Coast Salish Peoples, on whose traditional, unceded territories our programs and events take place.

We are hosting events and workshops across North Vancouver throughout the month to highlight and celebrate Indigenous arts and culture. Join us in celebrating the stories and achievements of Indigenous Peoples!
