Centennial Theatre presents
Beverley Elliott …didn’t see that coming
Pick of the 2014 Vancouver Fringe Festival
May 1 and 2 at 8:00 pm, May 3 at 2:00 pm

Well known for her roles as ‘Granny’ on the hit series ‘Once Upon a Time’ and in the international theatrical hit ‘Mom’s the Word’, Beverley Elliott shares a funny and moving collection of autobiographical stories taking the audience on a comedic romp from small town Ontario to red carpets and the colourful night life of Vancouver.

This touchingly personal and irreverent exploration of humanity is directed by Jessie Award winner Kerry Sandomirsky with musical direction by Bill Costin. …didn’t see that coming was one of the most popular Picks of the 2014 Vancouver Fringe Festival.

Inspired by her live performances at the Flame, her writing group Wet Ink Collective, and years of entertaining crowds gigging with various bands and in a parade of bars, …didn't see that coming takes the audience on a journey full of surprising twists and turns, revealing both unexpected blessings and uncomfortable epiphanies.

Beverley is a charming and generous performer with a gorgeous singing voice and a wicked sense of humour. She shares the most intimate stories of her life with musicality, grace and exceptional timing.

“Beverley Elliott is magnetic. It’s hard not to feel disappointed every time she walks off the stage.” -Erika Thorkelson, Vancouver Sun

"A consummate professional, Beverley Elliott had her audience in the palm of her hand from the minute she walked out on to the stage. Loved her show."- Gillian Lockitch, Reviews from the House

"Elliott has captured the essence of a life well lived filled with laughter, tears, hope and love, something (every) audience can relate to." - MJ Ankenman, Plank Magazine
