The 30 foot high red steel and aluminum sculpture depicts the path of a mountain biker taking 'Air'. The District of North Vancouver is a world renowned mountain biking destination and this vibrant red sculpture is an ode to that local culture that thrives in the mountainous terrain of North Vancouver.

Vancouver-based sculptor, Marie Khouri's work resides at the often-tenuous place between art and design, with a close integration of form and function, reflecting a passion for innovation and spontaneity. 

Vancouver-based artist Charlotte Wall has been exhibiting work since 1999. She has studied education, music, literature, multi-cultural art practices and commercial design.
