Local residents participated were invited to work with local artist Eric Neighbour to creation sculptures that would become permanent fixtures at Delbrook recCentre. Participants organized into teams and over a four evening workshop they designed and constructed abstract human figures that reflected the activities and/or history of Delbrook. The armatures, or skeleton, of these figures were constructed of driftwood collected from local beaches. The armatures were then surfaced with a fiberglass materials and installed by the artist above the entrances at Delbrook recCentre.
