Rain Garden is a simple, sloped surface dotted with boulders and with a faucet that can be turned off or on. Located in a children's play area, the art work provides opportunity for damming and diverting water.
About the Artists:
Bill Pechet received degrees in geography and visual arts from the University of Victoria before attaining an architecture degree from the University of British Columbia. Stephanie Robb (MAIBC) is a registered architect who holds a post-graduate degree in architecture from the University of British Columbia and an under-graduate degree in visual art from Simon Fraser University. Their design partnership has produced a diverse portfolio of projects including private residences, cemeteries, memorials, public art, plazas, commercial interiors, exhibitions, sets and furniture.
