Cascadia Green Development, in coordination with the City of North Vancouver’s Public Art Program, is inviting Expressions of Interest (EOI) from Canadian professional artists or artist teams with proven public art experience to create an original site-specific public artwork(s) associated with the new development project at 800 Marine Drive in North Vancouver.

This project is a mixed-use commercial development that will feature commercial units on the ground floor, and 19 residential units on the second and third floors. The building is situated on a central transportation artery linking Lion’s Gate Bridge with the Iron Workers Memorial Bridge, therefore the location has high visibility for daily commuters and the public in general. In addition, 800 Marine Drive is only a few steps away from Mosquito Creek with easy access to its wonderful nature trails.

This EOI identifies a number of potential public art opportunities along the streetscape or integrated with the façade of the building. The shortlisted artists will be briefed on all of the specific project details and will be invited to develop a concept proposal for the Selection Panel’s consideration.

Please carefully read the attached EOI document to learn more about the project and how to submit your credentials for consideration.
