The North Vancouver Recreation & Culture Commission and City of North Vancouver are inviting Expressions of Interest from professional artists, to create original site-specific public artwork(s) for a new Dog Park Plaza, at 8th Street and Lonsdale Avenue in North Vancouver.
This public art opportunity focuses on the Lonsdale Dog Park Plaza. This plaza is situated along Lonsdale Avenue, at 8th Street. It is a perfect rest stop at the top of a long steep hill and a great spot to watch canine friends have some fun. The two level plaza features open and covered seating.
The plaza has been previously fitted with an engineered footing, for the selected artist's use. See attached PDF Call for further details.
