Cressey Development Group, in coordination with the City of North Vancouver Developer Public Art Program, is seeking an artist or artist team to create a site-specific public artwork to be featured at the Century Development project. This Public Art Opportunity invites Expressions of Interest (EOI) from all professional Artists or Artist Teams based in Canada.
The Century Development project is a 281 unit residential project that consists of three distinct residential buildings, plus a new public park for the community’s enjoyment. The site is located in the civic and commercial core of Central Lonsdale and is most notably situated across the street from Lions Gate Hospital.
North Vancouver’s Public Art Program is “committed to creating art in public places to celebrate and stimulate the cultural spirit and identity of the community” and to enrich the experience of the public realm for the immediate community and broader public. The program is pleased to announce this new opportunity.
