Ramp Walls Spirit Trail

Status:
Closed

The City of North Vancouver, in partnership with the Squamish Nation has contracted the Vancouver Mural Festival to facilitate the creation of a mural of Squamish Nation artworks on the walls of the Spirit Trail, at the Mosquito Creek Marina.

All Squamish Nation artists that are interested in being considered for this project, are invited to submit their name and contact information, along with six images of their previous artwork to project team on or before the June 26th deadline. Selected artists must be available to work on the development of a mural design during the month of July and to paint onsite in August. This is a great mentoring opportunity to work with the Vancouver Mural Festival, as they will provide all of the materials, technical support, and labour assistance needed to complete the project. The project has identified a total of $24,000 for artist fees, for up to three artists to work collaboratively on the creation of the mural design and for onsite painting.
