Abstract art meets activism!
NVRC Artist-in-Residence, Beth W. Stuart is an abstract artivist who creates vibrant, complex paintings driven by social justice themes. Her creative practice is rooted in an ethic of bearing witness, informed by her work as a researcher in the areas of conflict, resilience and culture.

Join us Saturday, February 7 for an artist talk and showcase with Beth! At this special event, she'll unveil three powerful new artworks celebrating local histories of resistance, resilience and revolution.
