Centennial Theatre presents Play, Pie & Pint A Lunchtime Theatre Experience featuring the Willy Blizzard Trio

 

North Vancouver, BC - Centennial Theatre is delighted to announce a new season of the popular Lunchtime Theatre series, ‘Play, Pie & Pint’. The first performance of the series will feature the Willy Blizzard Trio on Wednesday, September 18th at noon.

 

The Willy Blizzard Trio is an acoustic folk/roots group playing original tunes that feature superb three part vocal harmonies accompanied by guitar, banjo and stand-up bass.  The trio is fronted by lead vocalist John Hough (formerly of Valdy and Under the Moss) who has been described by the Canadian Folk Music Bulletin as having “the smoothest baritone west of the Rockies.” The trio is known for their insightful and genuine songwriting infused with images and stories that reflect the heart of Canadian experience. 

 

All performances will be followed by a hot and savoury meat or veggie pie for lunch and a beverage of choice in the theatre lobby. Seating is limited so purchasing tickets in advance is highly recommended.
