The District of North Vancouver in partnership with Kevington Building Corporation Ltd. invites Expressions of Interest from artists or artist teams to design and integrate site specific public art into 'Edgemont Commons', a commercial development located in Edgemont Village in the District of North Vancouver. Submission deadline is Wednesday July 24, 2013, 4pm.
Edgemont Commons is a 3-storey commercial building located at a 'gateway site' at the entrance to Edgemont Village, a popular commercial node comprised of small shops, cafes and services. The design team envisions a public art work to be located in the rebuilt corner park.
This Public Art Call is open to all interested professional Artists or Artist Teams who meet the creative, eligibility and performance criteria as outlined in the Call.
