Fairborne Lynn Creek, in coordination with the District of North Vancouver's Developer Public Art Program, is inviting Expressions of Interest from experienced, professional artists or artist teams residing in North America to create original site-specific public artwork at 1510 Crown Street, in North Vancouver’s new Lynn Creek Town Centre.

The mixed used development is comprised of two 7 and 8 story buildings which include a mix of residential housing and retail space. The Fairborne Team and the District of North Vancouver have determined that the public art shall be located within the south west area of the site, with a range of specific locations open for consideration. This location marks the entrance to the Lynn Creek Town Centre, and includes a pedestrian plaza and transit stop.

North Vancouver Public Art Program
With more than 200 pieces in the collection, North Vancouver’s public art encompasses all types of media. From eye catching sculptures and mosaics to temporary installations and digital works, public art is a standout feature in community hubs,  along trails, in parks,  featured in public facilities and in commercial developments such as this one.  Artwork selected for this public art project will become part of the community collection intended to celebrate the cultural spirit and identity of our area.  Click here to learn more about North Vancouver's Public Art Program.

We gratefully acknowledge that the District of North Vancouver including the Lynn Creek Town Centre  is located on the traditional and unceded homelands of the Squamish and Tsleil-Waututh people.
