Tricor Pacific Lands and Redic Developments, in partnership with The District of North Vancouver Public Art Program, invite expressions of interest from artists or artist teams to design and integrate site specific public art at a soon to be constructed residential townhome development located at 340 Mountain Hwy in the Lynn Creek Town Centre in the District of North Vancouver.

The Rupert Townhomes is a 26 unit, 5-storey, stacked townhome development located at the corner of Mountain Highway and Rupert Street in the Lynn Creek Town Centre in the District of North Vancouver. Lynn Creek will be a mixed-use family oriented community offering a wide range of housing options for people in a unique location near employment, community recreation facilities, retail and public transit. An enclosed landscaped courtyard will provide a secure outdoor space for children to play and residents to gather. The project’s construction is scheduled to commence early 2019 with completion planned for late 2020.

This is an open Public Art Call for Expressions of Interest from artists/artist teams. From the submissions received a selection panel will short-list 3 artists to prepare a concept proposal from which the panel will select one artist/artist team for the commission. There are no restrictions on choice of media however, ease and cost of maintenance, durability, vulnerability to vandalism and optimal architectural integration of the work will be taken into consideration during the selection process.
