NVRC is honoured and grateful to have three facilities recognized in the North Shore News 2023 Readers Choice Awards. 

Delbrook Community Recreation Centre was voted ‘Favourite Recreation Centre’ for the sixth year in a row and also received a special Platinum Award for being the favourite five years running from 2018 to 2022. Harry Jerome Community Recreation Centre was one of the top three in the category.

Centennial Theatre was voted ‘Favourite Performing Arts Theatre’ for the fourth year in a row. It has been the category winner since the Performing Arts Theatre award was first given out in 2020.

“Thank you to everyone in the community who voted for us, and thank you to all our patrons and visitors who are at the heart of what we do,” says Heather Turner, NVRC’s Director, Recreation & Culture. “I am very proud of all our staff who strive to connect with everyone they encounter and create an amazing customer experience.”
