Camp Little Campers Delbrook 3-4yrs (Part day)
Location: Delbrook Community Recreation Centre
These camps are designed for our younger campers who are looking to use their imagination and build friendships. Incorporating various themes through arts and crafts, games, explorations, storytelling, songs, play and lots of fun!
Camp Seylynn Park Outdoor 6-10yrs (Full day)
Location: Seylynn Park next to Lynn Creek Community Recreation Centre (opening fall 2024)
Join us for an action packed summer in our local park as we explore the outdoors and surrounding neighbourhoods. Enjoy cooperative games, forest play, nature exploration, and arts & crafts while making new friends. We'll use public transit for some outings or travel on foot. This camp runs outside in all weather.
Multi Sports & Games Camp Outdoor 4-6yrs (Part day)
Location: Seylynn Park next to Lynn Creek Community Recreation Centre (opening fall 2024)
This outdoor camp is designed for active kids. It is a perfect opportunity to develop fine and gross motor skills, make new friends, and learn initial skills of soccer, t-ball, racquet sports, play games and more.
Little Campers Harry Jerome 3-5yrs (Part day)
Location: Harry Jerome Community Recreation Centre
These camps are designed for our younger campers who are looking to use their imagination and build friendships. Incorporating various themes through arts and crafts, games, explorations, storytelling, songs, pretend play and lots of fun!
Camp Lynn Valley and Camp Ron Andrews 5-6yrs (Full day)
Location: Lynn Valley & Ron Andrews Community Recreation Centres
Calling all five & six year olds! Join us for fun-filled adventures as we play games, use our imaginations, create arts & crafts, explore our local parks and forests, and make new friends. This camp spends time indoors and outdoors too. For children entering grades K-1.
Multisport & Games Outdoor Camp 6-9yrs (Part day)
Location: Parkgate Community Centre
Campers will enjoy an action packed week of outdoor sports. They will play a variety of sports and games at Parkgate Park as well as participate indoors in the gymnasium as needed given environmental conditions outside.
Multisport & Games Camp 6-12yrs (Part day)

Join our sports leaders for this action-packed camp full of all sorts of sports and games.
Musical Theatre Camp 9-12yrs (Part day)
Location: Memorial Community Recreation Centre
Through singing, dancing, acting and a variety of fun-filled improvisation games and activities, your child will develop their performance skills with Kristina L. From in-class auditions to the final bow, this class will give your child the chance to experience the fun and hard work it takes to put on a musical.
Painting & Mixed Media Camp 6-12 yrs (Part day)
Location: Multiple locations available
Get creative with pastels, watercolours, tempera, collage, printing, patterning & more. Each day will introduce a new fun project designed to engage and inspire a love for art. This camp may occasionally work on their art outside, as weather permits
Hiking & Outdoor Survival Skills Camp 11-14yrs (Part day)
Location: Karen Magnussen Community Recreation Centre
Discover the thrill of outdoor adventure and hiking! Engage in hands-on activities from shelter building to fire crafting. Foster teamwork, connect with nature, and create lasting memories
Urban Meets Nature Drawing, Sketching & Painting Camp 12-15yrs (Part day)
Location: Lions Gate Community Recreation Centre
Participants will learn drawing, sketching and painting techniques while exploring the beauty of the vibrant Lions Gate Community & Capilano River Area. Each day will include a new walking excursion designed to inspire the artist within.
Byte Camp - 3D Animation 11-14yrs (Full day)
Location: Multiple locations available
Dreaming of a career with PIXAR? Ever wonder how those awesome 3D animated movies like Shrek, Toy Story and Frozen are made? Spend the week learning how by modeling, animating and telling your own stories in 3D. You'll use Blender, a wonderful 3D software, to design characters that jump off the screen and then make them come alive by adding voices, soundtracks and completing a group-made short film.
Byte Camp - Build an App 11-14yrs (Full day)
Location: Harry Jerome Community Recreation Centre
Learn how to design, code, test and deploy your very own app! Use the gyroscope, tapping and dragging or anything else you can think of to build your app from scratch. Be prepared to challenge yourself and learn some new skills! Each day a new project is introduced and students are taken through the steps of understanding and working with these new code ideas. Students will get to work on their own project ideas on the final two days. Byte Camp's 2D Video Game Design is recommended as a prerequisite.
Byte Camp - 2D Video Game Design 11-14yrs (Full day)
Location: Lynn Valley Village Community Complex
Learn how to build a 2D game from the ground up using Godot, an awesome free platform for coding and launching games (think Python, but way more fun!) This is a coding camp, so be prepared to challenge yourself and learn some new skills. Time will be spent learning how to create advanced 2D vector artwork and animated character sprites to make your game look great. Some coding experience or Byte Camp's - Intro to Coding is recommended as a prerequisite.
Camp Daytrippers 11-13yrs (Full day)
Location: Multiple locations available
Join the Daytrippers camp for a summer crammed full of fun! With trips to the best summertime destinations and activities in our centres planned each week, you'll also choose many of the days' activities. For youths entering grades 6-8.
Babysitter Training & Beyond Camp 11yrs+ (Part day)
Location: Multiple locations available
Receive instruction in child care, safety procedures and activities for young children in this half day camp. Each day participants will learn practical skills with a focus on arts & crafts, game, activities, and go on neighbourhood walks with a focus on having fun safely with a child.
