The two-story windows bear the image of the first Lynn Valley General Store which was at one time located within feet of the new library site. This heritage image from the Archives has been digitally re-created in text from the work of local North Shore writers, and has been painted in the interior lamination of the glass. From a distance the warm coppery tones of the text appear as a mural. Moving closer the viewer will be able to read the texts that have been transferred on to the glass.
