The aquatic facilities at Karen Magnussen Community Recreation Centre will be closed from September 5 to October 10 for regular maintenance, reopening on October 11. 

This includes the pools, hot tub, steam room and pool change rooms. The closure allows for servicing and replacement of equipment, repairs, painting and deep cleaning.

The fitness centre and arena will continue to be open during the aquatic closure. There will be limited availability for fitness centre users to access the arena change rooms. Fitness centre users are encouraged to change before coming to use the facility or visit another NVRC fitness centre during this time. Our other pools at Delbrook, Harry Jerome and Ron Andrews Community Recreation Centres will remain open and available during this time. You can find location information and hours on our website at nvrc.ca/pools.
