The District of North Vancouver Public Art Program, in partnership with Guildford Brooke Estates invites creative professionals interested in providing a site specific, functional, public art project on Mt Seymour Parkway. The goal of this public art project is to create an inventive functional fencing feature that will serve both as a bike lane barrier separating the cyclists from vehicle traffic and a public artwork that is distinctive and meaningful for area residents. Submission deadline is Monday September 16, 2013 @ 4pm.

The District of North Vancouver in partnership with Kevington Building Corporation Ltd. invites Expressions of Interest from artists or artist teams to design and integrate site specific public art into 'Edgemont Commons', a commercial development located in Edgemont Village in the District of North Vancouver. Submission deadline is Wednesday July 24, 2013, 4pm.

Shore Projects Ltd. is pleased to invite Artist and/or Artist Teams to submit design proposals for the creation of three different public art works that will be included in 'The Shore', a new residential development located at 720 West 2nd Street in the City of North Vancouver, between Marine Drive, Fell Avenue, and East 2nd Street Connector and Bewicke Avenue. Adera Development Corporation is seeking an artist or a team of artists to create artwork associated with the development of a new residential complex located in North Vancouver. It is intended that the artwork will be an iconic piece which will reference the site as a meeting place and as a dynamic work of art for the Marine Drive corridor.

The District of North Vancouver Public Art Program, coordinated through the North Vancouver Arts Office is currently accepting Expressions of Interest from artists or artist teams to create and install a public artwork on the 'western' section of the North Vancouver Spirit Trail.

The goal of this public art project is to create an inventive landmark feature that will serve as a “must see” destination point along the Spirit Trail. The site selected for the artwork is situated at a juncture between two roadways, industrial lands and natural parkland, providing a perfect convergence point for the placement of a vertical element.

Anthem Properties & Loblaws Companies Ltd., in partnership with the City of North Vancouver is now accepting expressions of interest from artists or artist teams, that are BC residents, to design and integrate site specific art at their 1632 Lonsdale Avenue Development in North Vancouver. Located on the north edge of ‘Central Lonsdale’, this mixed-use high-rise residential and commercial development aspires to bring vitality and an increased sense of urbanity to Central Lonsdale. Anticipated date for installation of selected artwork is 2013.

The District of North Vancouver in partnership with Brody Development Group invites expressions of interest from artists or artist teams to design and integrate site specific public art at an upcoming residential development located in the Lynnmour area of North Vancouver. Legacy, a new 29-unit townhouse development will be located at 881 Premier Street in North Vancouver. The development is scheduled to be complete in late 2012.

The City of North Vancouver Public Art Program, facilitated by The Arts Office, is accepting Expressions of Interest from artists for the new Mackay Creek Bridge. The public artwork seeks to artistically address vandalism issues the City is encountering at the site. Specifically, this pedestrian bridge has fallen victim to a rash of tagging incidents over the past year.
