Hundreds of images have been stenciled onto the asphalt along three kilometres of the Green Necklace Pathway that surrounds the City of North Vancouver. The images borrow from the familiar vernacular of figures in circles that are commonly seen on pavement and street signage. But these figures are playful and diverse departures from the expected, a series of mini narratives along the route that create a quality of whimsy and delight for the entire community to enjoy. People will come across these whimsical images as they walk, run or cycle along the path.
