Changes to processing of new online registration account requests

North Vancouver Recreation & Culture (NVRC) strives to meet the needs of the community in our programs, services and events. In response to customer feedback, we are making some changes to how people create a new account in our registration platform, PerfectMind.

Currently, new accounts can be created online instantly, without review by NVRC staff. Unfortunately, this had led to an increase in the creation of fake and duplicate accounts that are being used to book and hold spots in popular programs.

To ensure equitable access to NVRC services for all customers, the online account setup process is changing.

A staff member will now verify the information provided in our online account creation form is accurate and not a duplicate of an existing account before a new account is created. New account requests will be reviewed within two business days.

Customers continue to have the option to create new accounts immediately, either in-person at any NVRC facility or by calling 604-987-7529.

Customers who think they may have an existing account with NVRC can reset their password online and get immediate access to their account by going to nvrc.perfectmind.com and selecting “Forgot Password”.
