Gateway is a split boulder into which the words St. Andrew’s Park have been sandblasted, and onto which a bronze-plated model of St Andrew’s Church has been set.

About the artists:
Bill Pechet received degrees in geography and visual arts from the University of Victoria before attaining an architecture degree from the University of British Columbia. Stephanie Robb MAIBC is a registered architect who holds a post-graduate degree in architecture from the University of British Columbia and an under-graduate degree in visual art from Simon Fraser University. Their design partnership has produced a diverse portfolio of projects including private residences, cemeteries, memorials, public art, plazas, commercial interiors, exhibitions, sets and furniture.
