Who's Got The Umbrella is a marble sculpture of two people in conversation. The concrete pedestals support marble blocks carved into the shape of human heads with smoothly classical features. Commissioned for the opening of the Deep Cove Cultural Centre in 1992, the sculptures' flat upper surface and title allude to the effects of local weather.
In 2022 the sculpture was removed to allow for some underground utilities upgrades. At that time the sculpture recieved some restoration work, and the water pond base was upgraded to a garden featuring flowing soft grasses.
Sculpture - marble sourced from a local quarry.
