NVRC operates three preschools. Our focus is on preparing your child for kindergarten in a positive learning environment that creates unforgettable memories, and builds self-confidence and life skills.
Inspired by BC’s Early Learning Framework, we see children as strong, capable and full of potential, and recognize the important role families play in children’s well-being and learning. Our preschools are led by early childhood educators and have a staff-to-child ratio of 1:10 with a limit of 20 children per class.
Philosophy
Our holistic approach and play-based program fosters children’s physical, emotional, social, creative and intellectual growth. It helps build a sense of wellbeing, belonging, and social responsibility. Based on children’s interests and curiosity for learning, activities encourage exploration and experimentation with a variety of materials. These experiences are designed to foster a deeper understanding of the world we live in. Come play with us in our welcoming and nurturing environment.

Registration
Registration for the 2026/2027 school year is open and on-going until May 2027. If a class is full, you are encouraged to add your child to the waitlist or explore options at other NVRC preschools.
Two-year-olds may register in three-year-old programs with the following parameters:
- Children registering September-December 2026 must be three years of age before December 31st 2026 and should be on their way to independent toileting.
- Children registering January 2027-April 2027 must be three years of age before June 18th 2027 and should be on their way to independent toileting.
